Mediator & Attorney Ayşe Tahancı

Ayşe Tahancı was born in 1993 in Ankara. After completing her primary and secondary education in Ankara, she enrolled at the Faculty of Law in Ankara on a full scholarship in 2011 and graduated as an honour student in 2015. During her law studies she interned at the Stuttgart office of Attorney Prof. Dr. Christian Rumpf in Germany and at various law firms.

In 2012 she enrolled in the Department of Political Science and International Relations at the Faculty of Political Sciences of Yıldırım Beyazıt University and graduated in 2017.

She is currently pursuing a master's degree in criminal law at the Department of Public Law of Yıldırım Beyazıt University.

She has strengthened her professional competence and knowledge through the training programmes and seminars she attended during and after her legal traineeship.

She currently works as a founding attorney at Tahancı Law Firm, which she established in 2017 together with her husband Fatih Tahancı.

She practises as an independent ATTORNEY registered with the Ankara 2nd Bar Association under registry number 4445.

Since 2018 she has served as a CONCILIATOR before the Ankara First Instance Judicial District.

Since 2023 she has served as a MEDIATOR before the Ankara First Instance Judicial District.

Ayşe Tahancı's principal practice areas are administrative law, criminal law, insurance law, compensation law, commercial law, corporate law, labor law and debt collection law.

Under administrative law, she offers solutions in full remedy (compensation) actions concerning losses suffered by natural or legal persons as a result of the acts and actions of the administration, as well as in annulment actions against regulatory instruments (statutes, regulations, circulars and the like) and individual acts of the administration. Within administrative law, personnel disciplinary law, civil service law and military disciplinary law are among her principal practice areas.

Under insurance and compensation law, she offers solutions in compensation actions arising from fatal or injury traffic accidents, diminished vehicle value actions, total loss and salvage value actions, replacement vehicle and loss of earnings actions, as well as in all kinds of disputes between policyholders, injured third parties and insurance companies.
