Mediator & Attorney Fatih Tahancı

Fatih Tahancı was born in 1992 in the Fethiye district of Muğla. He completed his primary education at various schools in Fethiye and his secondary education at Bucak Mehmet Cadıl Anatolian Teacher Training High School.

In the January–February term of 2013 he interned at the Prime Ministry of the Republic of Türkiye. In the summer of 2013 he took part in an Erasmus internship mobility programme at Keele University in the United Kingdom.

In 2014 he completed his studies in Ankara at the Faculty of Economics and Administrative Sciences, Department of Political Science and International Relations, on a full scholarship, as a high honour student and second in his department.

In 2015 he graduated from the Faculty of Law in Ankara on a full scholarship as an honour student.

Fatih Tahancı completed his legal traineeship with the Ankara Bar Association at various law firms focusing on insurance law, compensation law, labor law, debt collection law and administrative law.

He practises as an independent ATTORNEY registered with the Ankara 2nd Bar Association under registry number 4446. Since 2018 he has served as a CONCILIATOR before the Ankara First Instance Judicial District. Since 2026 he has served as a MEDIATOR before the Ankara First Instance Judicial District.

In November 2024 he completed his master's thesis entitled “Security Investigation and Archive Research in the Context of Administrative Court Decisions” at the Hacettepe University Institute of Social Sciences, Department of Public Law, under the supervision of Assistant Professor Özge OKAY TEKİNSOY. The thesis was published as a book under the same title by Yetkin Yayınları.

Fatih Tahancı's principal practice areas are administrative law, criminal law, insurance law, compensation law, commercial law, corporate law, labor law and debt collection law.

Under administrative law, he offers solutions in full remedy (compensation) actions concerning losses suffered by natural or legal persons as a result of the acts and actions of the administration, as well as in annulment actions against regulatory instruments (statutes, regulations, circulars and the like) and individual acts of the administration. Within administrative law, personnel disciplinary law, civil service law and military disciplinary law are among his principal practice areas.

Under insurance and compensation law, he offers solutions in compensation actions arising from fatal or injury traffic accidents, diminished vehicle value actions, total loss and salvage value actions, replacement vehicle and loss of earnings actions, as well as in all kinds of disputes between policyholders, injured third parties and insurance companies.
